Intermediate Level Programme

Overview

This intermediate level (I’daadiyyah) is an intensive program designed for those that have acquired basic competency in Arabic and Islamic studies and which to further their study to the intermediate level. Students enrolling in this program will be introduced gradually to Arabic classical texts in Nawh, Sarf, Aqeedah, Fiqh and Seerah, which will strengthen their basic studies and prepare them for the advanced level. All courses are well presented in a manner that is organized and easy to understand that leaves no ambiguity.

Mode of learning

ON-DEMAND: This is a self-paced mode of learning, which means you are to decide when to complete the program. You will take your time to process each module at your own comfort; you can watch lectures, complete your assignments, and take quizzes when it works best for you. This is ideal for the busy type of people with a low budget whose schedules are not flexible. However, there is an opportunity to join the instructor in a scheduled live session to engage in discussion with him based on a particular study material.

ONE-ON-ONE: In this mode of learning, the student will interact with his/her instructor in real time one on one without being engaged will fellow students in the virtual classroom.  Taking a class at home is super comfortable.

Objective

• To strengthen the students’ basic knowledge of Arabic and Islamic studies
• To introduce the students to Islamic classical texts in Arabic gradually.
• To facilitate more understanding of some fundamental knowledge in Islam

Duration

The duration of the program is one and a half years of intensive study split into three long semesters. Each semester is comprised of 4 months (16 teaching weeks) excluding an exam period, and a week-long break. It is our hope that this intensive course will provide students with a secure foundation on which they can build an intelligent and informed practice of their religion and from which they can proceed to a deeper study of Arabic and Islamic studies Insha Allah.

Language of Instruction

The programme would be taught in English or the Yoruba language. We will ask you about your preferred language in our application form and will enrol you in classes offered in your preferred language.

Cost of Programme

ON-DEMAND (GENERAL CLASS): ₦5000 | $25.

ONE-ON-ONE: ₦25,000 | $60.

Admission Requirement

The applicant should have a basic level of education in Arabic and Islamic Studies.

Assessment

Students will be assessed partially every 7th week of this program and fully at the end of the program1
